One of the great things about working here at MySpace is that we believe in open content distribution. As you may have noticed during the past month, we’ve made significant strides in establishing MySpace as a test bed for innovation among the developer community with the rollout of our Qizmt computing framework, MySpaceID integrations with Tweetdeck and Windows Live among others, and the most recent Twitter sync functionality. Today, we’re adding another enhancement to our list of MySpaceID offerings, our MySpaceID Javascript library (JSL). In this initial launch the MySpaceID JSL will…

I’m trying out Clear WiMax mini Bay Area ‘Innovation network’ right now and have to say, the speeds aren’t bad! I only get 4 out of 10 bars reception but was able to pull in pretty nice downloads speeds of 4.5 MBit down. Considering this test line is supposed to be only 1MBit/sec and that I’m not supposed to be in the reception range (I guess being on the 10th floor helps) ,this is quite impressive. Sadly there is no Snow Leopard driver yet, so for now I’m running the USB modem in Windows 7 only. Update: Looks like this is as fast as it can get. Downtown Palo Alto with…

At one point in time I was getting my music needs through myspace when once upon a time they allowed downloads and I was browsing through the directory to find new bands.. but alas, no more. Sooner or later adobe will release a new version of flash player.. I doubt myspace can solve this issue.

You mean you are seeing "Lite View" when you are logged out? Safari is a bad choice of browser for MySpace. I've seen complaints/problems with it in the forum for years. Better choices: Firefox 3.5, Flock, and if you absolutley must, IE7 or IE8 Also, IE tab for Firefox is okay. Of my friends, the two Safari users I know abandoned it for Firefox long ago, due to problems with it on MySpace.

I liked her first album, 'Fast Cars', as for her albums after that, well, in my opinion, the tracks are a bit hit and miss, maybe for me she starts getting a bit too preachy in tone a times in those later collections, i think the first album avoids that. I'm not so captured by the Pavarotti incident posted earlier either, its amusing, but i dunno, its a bit like if she threw a tuba soloist into accompany her. All in all though, fair play to her :-)

    22 Nov 2009 | 9:14 am
Influences are Ween, The Kinks, Jellyfish, Mr. Bungle, The Band, Elvis Costello, My Morning Jacket and on and on. Must be able to play shows once per week around the Tri State area and the North East, with the occasional tour. We’re not looking for a pay to play person (if we get paid, so do you). We’re looking for someone to be a full time member. Vocal abilities a plus. Give a listen and contact us if you are interested.
